    Default Help with unidentified blanking plug!

    Hi guys, dealership left this blanking plug on my back seat, anyone able to work out where it came from?

    Looks like a door blank usually on rear doors that have no electric windows etc. i would loke at both you doors on the side you have just had resprayed. its the most likely! as they probably had the door off.

    I had a quick look at the doors, couldn't see anything (but did notice a screw missing from the swapped door card!!) and its leccy windows all round so not that.

    It's definitely off the rear door - the part number is coming up as PLUG, BLANKING, 8.5 X 25.3, DOOR ACCESS HOLE, REAR DOOR, so it could be on the edge of the door. It wasn't clear where it actually was off.

    it's not the one that covers the screw for the door handle removal is it???....about the right size..

    Mother****ing cocks!! they have just tried to clean up the scratches and swapped them front to back!!! The blanking plate is indeed from the rear door. I've just finished one letter to their customer services, it's time for another one!

    That's what I wondered, but on the Signum it's a round plug for that so I wasn't sure and the description I got wasn't totally clear.

    I might have missed another thread, but why was the car in the dealers? They sound as incompetent as my local dealers
