    Eek 3.2 V6 VXR has fallen ill..Advice needed

    My car has fallen ill on me , it seems to be running on 5 cylinders, this happened on my old Vec B V6 and it turned out to be the dispack, and VX cant book me in until Friday, any1 had a similar problem?

    Similar thing happened on my girlfriend's Yaris. Was one of the coil packs in the end and wasn't too expensive (done on a favour though).

    does sound like a coilpack...and tech2 will tell them which bank..IIRC they are differently priced and run at about £80 and £85 each to the likes of me..around £25 quid more to the public...allow for around 3 hours labour as well on the bill...while the coilpacks are out, the the plugs changed as well, as it's just daft not getting them done while the car is all stripped out..

    Nice one Mark, il get them to do that at the same time, i can get discount too as i know a salesman in VX

    It just so happens i can get you a coil pack for the 3.2 V6 for £50 delivered and its brand new if it's any good to you let me know !!!!

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

    Drinky...it depends if it's front or rear bank as they differ mate.....so he'll have to let you know which he needs..
