    Default Irmscher Door pins

    I've just found 2 sets of Irmscher door pins i was bought as a pressie back in june, Question is are they easy to fit? or do you need to take the door cards etc off..??

    As far as i'm aware you can do them in place,there is a How2 or a thread about them somewhere on here,just bought some cheap pins from LMF myself,picked them up this morning so going to fit them tonight, will let you know how i get on...

    dead easy.. prise out the red section on the old door pin.. then pull it up and it's gone.. then just wind in the allen screw in the alloy new pins to clamp it to the button's rod... whole car in 10 mins including a tea break..

    Well that was a nice n easy 10 minute mod to do, Fitted my new Ed Taylor ariel as well..

    Unless your name is Duncan who if I remember the thread correctly took his door cards off so the allen screw could not be seen when the pins were in the open position.
