Since no longer having the company car i have noticed that i no longer try to find the closest parking space to where i am going.
Anyone else park as far away from other cars as they can?

yep, as our cars are our own, we park as carefully as we can.....
seen an advert like that................check the sky before you park....and for thieves....
I try but just my luck when I get back to the car, The car park will be empty apart from the git that park's right next to mine
iv usually got my boy with me so park in child space otherwise i try and park as near to a kerb etc as possible so only 1 side gets scratched if im unlucky
Always park far away from everything else then come back to it and someone parks right next to you, its as if their car has to be kept warm or something even though there is $hit loads of empty spaces pi$$es me right off.
I parked in a swimming pool car park away from everyone else right in an area that had no cars about. When i came out someone had parked so close to my drivers door that i had to squeeze to get it.The ironic thing was as i was getting in the woman that owned the other car was coming back so as i slid into my car i said in a loud voice "For F*cks sake can't you park any closer". Stupid biatch just looked at me as i drove off, while cursing under my breath.
Try the parking over two spaces trick that one really ferks people up when they try to use your car as a car parking guide ....................W*N*ERS !!!!!!!
Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!
I park in supermarket car parks straddling two spaces. A store employee remonstrated with me over this just the other day. I pointed out that I'll park properly, when people stop battering my car and the store take an interest in their customers property.
Yep. I always use the disabled or family spaces if there's one free - even if I haven't got the boys...
Its about time there was a standard width for a parking space, given that modern cars get bigger and bigger. 10 years ago the average car was an escort or cavalier, now there's more 4x4s, mondeos, vectras etc that just take up too much room in the majority of car parks.
