    Is your car the 1.8? How does it feel with the new clutch.

    Did you have to push to get it replaced or did they just ring you up?

    I am waiting for my dealers to pull their finger out and get me a new clutch.Its suppose to be the end of August but i'm still waiting.

    i did mine on my 2.2 ! feels mega now its done !!

    No I have the 1.9 CDTI (16v) and i have to say that it drives so much better. As i had another fault it was booked in for their next available date which was 2 weeks, and all fixed (and damaged!) within two days.

    is there something im missing here???? is there a problem with the clutches? i have a 1.8vvt

    some 1800's have suffered from clutch 'judder' and VX wil replace the affected units under warranty if you still have one....

    what do you mean by judder?? during gear changes? mine sort of does between 1st and 2nd

    it's a 'problem' in taking up drive in either 1st or 2nd gear as the engines power defeats the clutches ability to transmit that power..so it vibrates as it slips...

    I showed Brocks a scratch on my rear bumper which I think happened when it was in the dealers for a service last week, i'm sure it wasn't there before it went in Can't prove it though and it's the last place i'd take my Vectra to be painted - I don't have an awful lot of confidence in their body/interior repairs (another story LOL)
