Default My car beeps at me now!!

Having scratched the rear bumper for a second time, whilst at Trax last weekend I found a 4 sensor reversing sensor kit for £40.

I wasnt in my veccy for the show (I went as a passenger with my bro who was on another stand). I popped across to the vec c stand just in time to watch Payney recieve his just rewards and GSi 3.2 his award for mechanical endevours over and above the call of duty!. Afterwards I had a wee chat with Duncan who quenched my fears reagrding the bulb failure check and even explained the "light your way home" feature - ta.

So this weekend I set about fitting the sensors and repairing the botton of the bumper. Its been a very busy day but suffice to say, with help of the How Tos, Duncans advice and a couple of other threads, I managed to dissasemble the veccy with breaking ANYTHING!! (now thats a first for me!)

So now my car beeps when its meant to, it has a newly painted bottom part of the bumper and I'm dead chuffed with my handy work! -All thanks to Vectra-C.com!

    Cheers

I believe he is referring to the "door to door" lighting feature. With the key removed from the ignition, open your drivers door and then flash your main beams. The Veccy will then leave your headlights and reverse lights on for 30 secs.
