    Hi There

Unfortunatley the 1.8 vehicles do not come with Traction Control at all.

the switch you are referring to is to disable TC on vehicles, Vx seem to have removed the functionality by placing a blank switch cover ... some members have removed the blank and found the wiring plug, fittes a TC switch (Disable) and have managed to disable TC.

TC is on all the time if the car has it m8. The switch (if it works when you fit it coz some don't) turns it off.

    Unhappy

I'm afraid the 1.8's dont have traction control, so a switch (to switch it off) can have no effect.
I believe all the other engine sizes, diesel and petrol have TC standard and some of the models can have a switch fitted in the dash to switch it off.

No, as they don't have TC. Only the 2.8T V6 and 3.0 V6 CDTi have TC on facelift cars. The rest will only have TC if ESP+ was specified on the options list, and many then seem to some with the TC button.
