    Vehicle : Insignia VX-line RED Tourer

    Trim : No, over weight!

    Engine : Flux Core Capacitor

    Year : 1 A.D

    Mileage : Rising

    Default Who's had the best deal on tyres ?

    What sort of prices are Vec-c folks paying for their tyres ?
    How do you rate the tyres you've had previously for grip, wear rate and value for money ?

    Not a designer brand but very functional, hard wearing, and confident. Got me to work and back again with no probs during heavy snow on the North York Moors.

    Kumho Solus, KH16, 215/50/R17 V rated.

    200 Quid for all four including fitting and balancing.

    Regards

    Nidge

    Okay...

    Front = Toyo 888 235/45 R17 at £180 each
    Rear = Toyo T1-R 225/55 R17 at £155 each

    A bargin at just £670 for four!

    and better still, the Toyo 888s last just three months , so you get to replace them four times a year!

    235/35/19..........£69 each, and they do seem to stick to the road, just haven't tried them in the wet yet

    The tyres on mine are Vredestein ULTRAC SESSANTA 235/35 ZR19 91Y XL with rim protection ridge, just checked on my tyres and they charge £142.70 each for them.

    fitted toyo T1-R's @ about £70 each -215/55/16 plus fitting

    But they highlighted the poorly designed suspension on my vectra, so it needed new control arms and new track rods.

    All replaced under network Q, so it cost them thank god.......

    Vredestein were voted best buy in Auto Express (i think it was) a few weeks back, giving the big boys a kick up the rear ! (Dutch company i believe)
