I would like to hang a picture on a wall.

the piccy is about 4' x 3' and has a resonable weight to it.

the wall is one of those modern hollow board jobs.

What would be the best way of hanging from that type of wall?

    thanks in advance

    Neil

My house is the same mate. I have just drilled a normal hole in through the board and into the block wall. Just use a long screw, twist the rawl plug a bit onto the screw and push it through the board and into the block then tighten the screw until just flush with the board. A good fixing. I don't trust cavity fixing's with a heavy picture/mirror.

5" nails would probably go straight through to the next room

You could hand a picture in both room's then. That will save some work.
