When I was choosing my car it was between the Mazda 6 and the Vectra. I chose the Vectra because the boot was bigger! On reflection and with the problems I have had, the Mazda might have been better. Anyway, the Vectra is bought and you just have to live with it... Maybe it will improve with age!!!
A 6 estate was on my list before I had the signum. But the model I looked at had a sunroof and electric seats - and I couldnt stop my head from hitting the roof!!
thought this new one looks smart..........
Very nice, however the steering wheel is identical to the one in the new vec d.
That is a good lookin' car. Mazda may well be onto a winner here.
Wow, that looks nice.
vaguely like a Lexus IS
I considered a 6 myself but there is quite a bit more road/engine noise than the vec.
We own a 04 Vec and a 04 Mazda 6 Diesel.
The 6 is very good, feel strong and the engine pulls like a train.
My only gripe with it is the steering doesn't self centre after making a turn, I have to take the lock off.
That looks very similar to the new Lexus IS. That's a good thing IMO.
It does look nice. They've also just launched the CX-7 (Mini site), which I like the look of.
Yes the CX7 came out over here last christmas - I had a looksy when we were in NZ. I thought it was good value as on the road in NZ it worked out to be about UKP 16K....I see what looks like to be an identical spec vehicle offered in the UK to be over 23K!!. I liked them very much but the interior designers seem to have left the team after doing the front cockpit. It has the worse luggage cover blind I have ever seen!!
There are a fare few about here now and they don't look so special anymore - weird! - the blue one looks the best though.
