    Default PO704 undocumented code.........

my cdti has just started "mis-firing/chugging" ....... garage has put the diagnostics on and the above code has come up - can any one help please on what it can be?

spaner light also flashing up every now and then but think that is due to it needing a service in the next few weeks.

    PLEASE HELP!!

thanx mate - just spoke to the garage and he cleared that code and it hasnt come back now so nothing wrong there.

He is going to do a fuel filter and oil change next week to see if that cures it, needs a service now anyway.

if that doesnt do it he reckons it may be a doodgy batch of diesel as we put in £15 last night so a bit suspect.....

    NIGHTMARE!

    Maety,

I was talking to a taxi driver who had exactly the same problem. His way of dealing with this was to find a safe road and take her for a "quick" spin!

Well only if you get caught by a speed camera..... luckily over here in N.I we have hardly any.........

Only joking. I think I'd get her looked over by someone else. To blame it on bad diesel is a bit lame in my books... but hey stealers will tell you anything for ££££££.....
