DTi suspension v CDTi suspension

is there any difference in the SRi set up between the 2 cars? weight load etc?

Get someone with a DTI to take a look at there axle weight on the door shut. The setup is weight dependant. It should also show up in part numbers.

i think mine is 1080 F and 980 R

They are the same rating, 1075kg and 980kg.


Are they the same fitting??

ahh cool thanx mate - so they are basically exactly the same springs and shocks?

Would have thought so, again someone who knows part numbers should be able to confirm this. I think Mark should know.

I knw the springs are definately the same, i had a conversation with Mick at LMF about 6 weeks ago on this very subject. Not too sure in the shocks though.

I had my shocks absorbers and spring replaced 3 months ago with fk ak sport coilovers and the mechani didn't put the rubber on spring hi said was not the same size and now i have a very loud noise coming from the front and rear suspension, anyway i dont whant to keep the sport suspension anymore, becouse is to hard and noise , can you give a advise about a soft and silent suspension.
The car is a vec c 1.9 cdti sri 150hp.
