    Default Todays Signum Improvements

Today i have been busy working on my rear end.....

    from this...

    To This...

I have tinted the reare lights, i am really impressed with the outcome

I have de-badged the rear and added a stubby aerial.

I have one problem though, there is almost a stain in the paint where the griffin badge was, any ideas what this could be and how to remove it?

ok ok so picture 1 is cleaner

    Thanks for looking

When you say a stain where the Griffin was, do you mean the paint has dulled a little bit??

If this is the case, use Meguairs Scratch X, then i used a car polish of some sort to polish it out(Cant remember what Polish i used now, probabaly some cheap and nasty one).

    It worked for me though.

I would have a go with some Scratch X where the Griffin was, then Polish the whole bootlid using a decent Polish.

Yeah that stain is normal when you remove badges. Its just where that paintwork has'nt been weathered. T cut and polish will get most of it out like ben said. Looks good tho mate. Different car from behind now

Yeah scratch x and t cut are the same thing really. Just t cut it and polish it with any car polish. You might find that its still faintly there but once the son and weather gets on it it should blend in with the rest of the boot. Its just where the paint under the badge has been covered from the sun.

Dont go mad with scratch x or t cut though because id hate for you to take the paintwork off

Essentially they are the same product, but Megs Scratch X is far better. I originally did my boot with T-Cut Scratch remover and it made a right mess of it. Went to Halfrauds and bought some Megs Scratch X and it was far far better.
