Have been using Halfords own cheap wheel cleaner, but it doesn't always shift the worst of the brake dust.
What do you use?

SRi 17s by the way
Megs wheel cleaner all the way with a wheel brush or two.
If you get them off the car and give em a good clean and then a coat of wax they just wipe clean from then on.
A wheel brush and soapy water!!!
I wax my wheels every 3 months and this prevents the brake dust sticking to the wheels... most of it comes off with the jet wash.

Turtle wax do a kit,Cleaner, polish & protector, the dogs danglers in my humble opinion.
I give mine a polish about twice a year, the cleaner & protector take good care of the wheels, jet washing them each time makes life easy.
I have used "wonder wheels" in the past, and although it works, it is very aggressive and I avoid using it now as I think it damages the laquer coating.
Only last weekend I bought and used a wheel brush with ordinary car wash shampoo (hot water) and that got 4 weeks worth of brake dust and muck off quite effectively.
I also for the first time ever waxed the wheels, using Mer alloy wheel wax, and what a difference! It helped clean the last bits off and left the wheels looking as good as 70,000 mile alloys can!
Thanks for the replies.
Think I'll give the alloys a little TLC at the weekend.
For Info I used Chemcal boys Wheel wax. I cna get 90% of the dust off with a hose!
For cleaning i use chemical guys blue rim and wheel cleaner, absolutely brilliant in my opinion followed by chem guys wheel guard, does the trick nicely and the wheel cleaner is non-acidic so wont damage your alloys
