    Default Please help!!

    Hi to all,
I have recently had a little bump, and the insurance people are taking ages to get my car inspected (2 weeks), this is top decide if the car is going to be written off or not.
Has anyone else been in this predicament and has anyone got any advice or hints, as i have never claimed off insurance before.

    Cheers

Not been in that predicament, on incident I had they came within the week to approve the repairs.

All I can suggest is get onto the insurance company and start getting on their case.

I recently had to make a claim like yours. My previous m-reg Honda (although repairable) was declared 'beyond economic repair'. I don't know how old your car is or what level of insurance cover you have. But I had third party only and it took about four weeks for the whole mess to be sorted and the cheque to arrive. In the meantime I received a courtesy car, an 07 Mondeo 2.0 TDCi, very nice. I considered buying one (but Mondeo's don't really turn heads unless they are ST's).
