JUst as a matter of interest whats the easiest way of getting my Design badges off the side of my car? Quite happy to leave the V6 Turbo where it is to be honest
pour over hot water..remove with credit/store/fone topup card..then used tar n bug remover to remove sticky stuff....tbh getting badges/sticky stuff off the paint is easy...getting it off the chrome strip can be a nightmare
Hot or warm water? Looks like they'll be off one way or another tommorow then
hot!..as in..boil kettle..make cuppa..use remainder on badges while tea's a brewing..quick scrape...sit back with cuppa (cigarette optional) admiring black sticky foam stuff that your going to tackle before the missis gives you one of those looks (you know the ones)
i would use hottish tap water if i were you-just to be safe not straight from a kettle
dunno if anybodys interested but other day i was rumaging about in a box of bits i have and have some genuine opel lettering still got sticking backed paper from vauxhall on it, if anybodys got a use drop me a u2u and ill send you it.

I found a credit card scratched the body. Dental floss was much kinder.
I de-badged my chrome strip, then got 'vectra & signum' badges from dealer to make my user name on there instead.
That was probably the first mod I did to the car even before joining this site
After PVS, I've fitted irmscher badge on other side
