    Default Elite vs SRi

    Hello

    First post.....

Am considering a Vec C Elite (facelift) but today I saw a SRi XP Nav which I really liked. What are the main differences, obviously I'll not get leather or leccy windows in the back, now can these be easily retro fitted? Specific car is an 07 plate hatch in Panacotta.

    Thanks.

    Default

    bumpers front and back different
    different fog lights
    steering wheel different (i think)
    Seats are firmer in sri
    rear clusters smoked on sri
dark head light surrounds on sri( or use to be on pre facelift)

    just for starters...

Twin zorsts as standard on 2.2, 2.0T petrols and 3.0 CDTI diesel, otherwise single.

The Elite model is for comfort with all those extras whilst the SRi model is sporty with its seats, suspension, wheels but few extras.

Sounds like you've got a cracking SRi there especially with the XP.

    Any pics, link to seller??

IMO SRI is way better looking especially the XP, but if you don't like a firm ride or you want more toys go for the Elite. HTH
IIRC its very hard to retro-fit rear leccy windows.
SRI all the way for me.
    Good luck!

Have you not considered the slightly older GSi. You can pick one up with just about all the toys the Elite has with all the SRi traits like seats, suspension and bumpers. Only downside is mpg and worst of he 3 in looks.

Its all about which direction you want to head - if you want sporty go for the sri, if you like your comforts (like me) then go for the Elite, you can easily make it look like an sri if you want.

Thanks for the replies. Well, I had my heart set on a 3.0 CDti Elite, but they are as rare as rocking horse poo, and when I was looking around yesterday I saw this SRi (it's the 150 1.9CDti). No links to pics or anything as it's only justy gone up for sale. I have to say I really liked the look of it, it also has bluetooth and parking sensors, so kit isn't bad, but it does look nice. Now, if I could find an Elite with the XP that'd be ideal.
