    Default Fitted Reversing sensors

Well, finaly got round to fitting the £16.99 kit from Techsales Uk, and I'm well impressed! Even though the instructions stated minimum height from ground of 50 CM, I fitted to the grey part under the bumper (Estate) at about 35cm and it works fine! That may be in part due to the grey pannel pointing slightly upwards. The alarm has two volume settings, and I've found it to be powerfull enough to site it next to the rest of the kit in the rear pannel.

Also not had to use any relay, as the bulb check feature does not trip this system.
Found an easy way of feeding the cables in through an existing blank rubber grommet that is in the little storage area between the spare wheel housing and the rear bumber. Had to remove the linner, and the strike plate, but that was very easy to do. Also there are two earthing bolts in there so no need to drill holes & use self tappers etc to get an earth.

The kit I went for is the alarm only kit as I didn't like the look of the LED / LCD dash systems (and I'm tight ).

Decided to paint them, as out of the Box they were too gloss black & would have looked odd against the grey matt plastic. But i think the grey I chose was probably a little too pale, but not bad.

Particular thanks to ghostrider, who told me which wire to "tap into" for the reversing light (as the lights are in the tale gate of the estate) and that saved me loads of time.

The estate is totally different wire to the hatch/saloon. It is as Ghost rider stated for the estate.
