Default Meguiars Tech wax and Quik Clay (spray)

There is certainly a lot of knowledge about these products on the site.
Has anybody tried the Tech wax. I looked at the video demonstration (via the link on dazza-diesels thread) and it looked pretty impressive.
As you all recommend quik clay, I was wondering if any of you have used the spray that's advertised. Any good?

tech wax? use it quite a lot. Its basically the same principle as autoglym super resin although forumlated differently. By that i mean its a 'wash and go' type product. It cleans, polishes and protects all in one go. Comes highly recomended for those who dont want to mess around with mulistage products.

The quik clay is what i use as its the only one ive found 'off the shelf'. A few other companies now do clay but seem to be mail order only. The Spray that comes with the clay is a Quik detailer that i keep raging on about. Lots of ones on the market, again mail order. The detailer spray also acts as a lube for the clay, hence why its included as part of the clay kit.

My fault. Didn't read the add properly (well..at all actually). The video looked pretty impressive. I've got an autoglym set (in the big red bag). Is it worth forgetting this and going over to meguiars?

hmmm.... thats like asking which is better, ford or vauxhall. Personally i'd always reach for the Meguiars, especially the NXT tech Wax over super resin.

    Hi all,

Yep I'm with Andy on that one............but if you have it just aswell to use it eh

Also when I use the clay bar with QD there is usually some QD left which is handy to keep in the car for and flies that might be stuck to it..........or bird dropping etc
