Default 2.0t still broke thinking off smashing up as had enough.

As most of you are aware I have had faults with my vectra since day 1 of ownership, which was the dealer, but still keeps doing the same faults.
if drive with cruise control on the cars turns it off after a while and when you stop and try to drive away you get no boost in 1st 2nd gear, then after a while it brings up a fault code which is always, maf, vaf performance sensor, boost inlet, boost control, abs faults.
Also had front pads off to check whether they where faulty, their virually brand new but when driving down the road on the passanger front you hear a squealing noise every now and again, and something has scored a grove in my disk???? I have know had 5 vauxhall dealers look at the car and they all haven't got any ideas but charge me between £102.90 - £168.42 just for looking at the car which included diagnostics an labour, bu shock horror fault is still their, it is so intermitant but 100% it is running to rich and losing air somewhere? I have spent over £1500 in the last month on it and still doesn't work. Replaced all turbo hoses with samco as they where always leaking at different points. Changed intercooler feed pipe from turbo as thought that must be where the laks where, no change, had intercooler pressure tested, hats fine, turbo maniold checked also, thats fine. One Thing I have learned is that never again will I buy a vauxhall Spent cose to £20k on a car worth 5K.

Anbody know of a good garage vx or not that might know what the hell is up with my car?

    Hello,

Is it a Petrol or Oil Burner?

Mine had VERY odd boost problems when I first got it, and it turned out to be a vacuum pipe.... everyone suggested them, but I ruled it out, as they "looked" ok.
You have to take them off, and bend them to check for brakes.
It could also be the Vacuum Pumps... not to sure if the Petrol is the same a the DTi in this respect though.

    Cheers

    Matt

Sounds like the usual slopey shoulder VX approach to fixing a fault, I was once told by Marshalls of Leicester to take my car somewhere else as they didn't know how to fix it (astra 1.7td), made them have it back & they got a proper VX bod in to sort it out

Serves Vauxhall right for using a Saab engine in the Vectra 2.0T and not the good old Z20LET. At least the dealers know how to fix the LET.

You got a lemon. Every manufacturer makes them, it's really just down to luck.

My housemate's Astra, apart from oil changes and brake pads and tyres has cost him a grand total of £3.48 since he got it. He's done over 80k in it since he got it (now on 111k). The only thing he's had to change was the EGR gasket. Vauxhall are unreliable you say? Hmm...biased viewpoint I think.
