When i spoke to regal yesterday they advised me to go for a panel filter and a cold air feed kit & not the flowmaster, they sell the cold air feed for around £100,

    £100 for a pipe?

    What's it made of...

I've tried running the car on the rolling road without the bumper on and I'm telling you now, it makes no difference what so ever to when I have it on. All I did was cut a few slots to let the air in (they can't be seen with the bonnet down) and that didn't cost me anything.

During tests I got the best power/torque from a foam mushroom filter but that was with the bonnet up and the mushroom out in cool air. You would need a custom enclosure for cone/mushroom filters to get good results.

do you mean a cold air feed m8, as that is what all these cone's and stuff require or they suck up all hot air from around the engine bay

Both a cold air feed and a shield around it, so that it is almost enclosed like the panel filter.
