    Default rear spoiler fitting

    hi,

i am about to fit a rear boot spoiler it comes with screws but im not too keen on drilling the boot so i have a tube of tiger seal will this hold it instead of the screws??

read somewhere someone had done it just wanted to know if it will secure it properly.

    thanks

make sure you scour the bottom of the spoiler to give the adhesive more to stick to,but you are better of bolting it on in case some scumbag tugs it off.

ok no worrys mate, well for my peice of mind i would use some screws on it, after spending all the money on it you wouldnt want it to go flying off somewhere if the worst were to happen, your going to have to mark out where its going anyway so it will only need to be a small hole.

pop the screws into the spoiler. place some masking tape roughly where the spoiler will mount. apply a nice slodge (technical term) of paint on the bottom of the screws. place the spoiler where it should go and the paint blobs (its technical again) left on the masking tape tel you where to drill!! or instead of paint try putty.
