If you had my car.... how would you style it?

Im in a real puzzle over how to style my car. I want to keep the 'posh' theme going of the factory car so everything will need to complement that. Other than that im totally stumped. Do i Add irmscher bits, colour code it, just lower it and put some wheels on? 18 or 19? rear spoiler??

both of you have more or less gone the same route. I tried Gary's DTM spoiler on mine last night and it looked very much out of place on a non sri so it will have to be the wing type as you guys say. (im thinking of holding out for a VXR copy to appear on the market)

19's i think is the way to go i agree. I was thinking of something with dark grey spokes and polished alloy rim.

Colour coding trim, I was going to do this but the people ive spoke to said they wouldnt bother (it will just flake off) or it will be expensive as a special typ eof paint needs to be used

Andy, if the proper plastic (flexible) primer is used it shouldn't flake off. I've had plastic bits painted for a couple of years now (and no flaking). Shouldn't be too expensive either....

colour code the black (use SRIside skirts )
smoked headlights
sri lip spoiler (STANDARD ONE )
19's but with a silver spoke to compliment your mirrors and handles
custom twin exhaust with the back bumper cut to suite
very light tint on the windows
lowered on sri springs (to low wont suite the posh theme )
irmscher front lip spoiler on your standard elite bumper
colour coded mud flaps
and of course a little bit of my favourite the chrome bling trim from halfords !!!

You could always leave the exterior as it is and concentrate under the bonnet.

well it definetly needs the sri springs fitting as its far too scary to drive at speed. I honestly feel like its going to understeer all the time. Its a world apart from my when i had my sri. The ironic thing is, despite lots of body roll, it still crashes over bumps

The chrome trim ive a few plans for, mainly pinched from the ideas you guys have come up with. (the beauty of a one make forum!)

i like the idea of a Q car, but to be honest, even with just a tuningbox on it suprises a few people who take it for an overwieght rep car

Me too, I don't always win though

Took on an Elise (Don't ask me why!) the other day, we both roared away, I kept level with him a bit, then he looked over, I could see his expression "WTF, that vecs still there" Then he booted it & shot off like a rocket!!

Gave him a scare though for a fleeting second anyway LOL

Lost out to a Vec B 2.5 as well, not too much in it though, until we reached about 40 when he was pulling away dramatically.

Bring on the tuning box, I can't wait
