Jacking alarm

Jacked the Signum up today with the doors locked and the alarm went off!!

Is this a security feature to safeguard the alloys.

Not once but twice this happened.

Think it is just the tilt sensor ... yep, that prevents your car being lifted and dragged away, put on a low loader or your alloys pinched.

Gave the guy at ATS an almighty fright a couple of years ago when he changed a tyre for me

Yep, perfectly normal as denzo said, and for the reasons he said.

Just unlock the car (and open a door to stop it self-locking again) if you need to jack up the car. If you need to disable the tilt sensor, say if you're on a ferry, then just press the alarm button on the dash and that disables it along with the interior ultrasonics detectors.

I did that the other day jack the motor up and the alarm went off, well I say it went off I thought it was a car down the road as the alarm was'nt very loud

I locked my sister in the car while i went into Asda yesterday! Came out 20 mins later and found the alarm going off and her inside going mental!

lol - depends on whether you're also aware of the 'light your way home feature' and the parking sidelight feature and......
