    Default Gear vKnobs - Facelift/Pre

    LMF stock irmy gear knobs for the pre-06, but would they fit the facelift as well???

    I does specify on the article that these are for the pre '06.

    And they dont appear to stock the facelift.

    Anyone got any ideas???

    I had one on my facelift. I had trouble finding one as it was for a 6 speed box - think yours is a 5!!

    Should fit - removal is easy - no need to cut off as per threads on here - AndyVec did mine - good set of grips, a tea towel and a nice heavy lump hammer.

    Wrap the tea towel around the base of the existing knob, get a good firm grip with the grips and whack it from underneath with hammer - hey presto!!

    Put new one on and give it a bl**dy good thunp with the palm of your hand until you hear it click - mine came off at first because It didn't click........
