    Default waxing help

have been using the meguiars 3 step- with great results- however- have ran out of the stage 3 carnauba wax

Wondering whether to change to the NXT Tech wax ( which also has cleaners in it ) or the Gold Class liquid wax ( which has polishes in it ) rather than get another bottle of carnauba

I'm guessing the GC is the one- any opinions?

    Mike

Collinite for me too - 476s is what I use after Megs polish and #21. Not sure what the 915 is that Fellie refers to.

915 is 476's big brother. I've used the 476 and am well impressed. (Thanks for the instructions on its use BTW Duncan). Both are on sale with Elite car care for the same price so I guess its a case of deciding what ya after:

*lol* You are going to get a 1000 different answers here, down to personal preferance again, I use victoria concourse wax, applied with your hands, it gives a nice wet look to the car and a very deep shine ..

    Default waxing

I've ordered some of the Collonite 476, on the basis that I can wax the car in October, and not have to do it again until the following easter

The Meg's is great but don't think it lasts more than aboot 8 weeks without having to re-apply

    Regards

    Mike

Do not buy NXT Wax; I used this on my metalic black vectra and it gave the car a dull cloudy finish.

So i then had to re-do the whole car with turtle wax to get the shine back.

For me it has to be Colinite 915/476 or Victoria concours wax, they last the longest in my opinion, and give your car a good shine.
