Show Display Board for the VXRD

I'm with Bainie TBH mate - sorry - just because you've got the money to plough into a car doesn't mean its any better that anyone elses - it is an amazing car - in the same way that Richard Branson is an amazing guy - but he's no better than my dad!

Also, I dont like the idea of pre-fabricated display boards as they would look to 'uniformed' on all the cars. Like you see in a showroom... no-one ever reads them. (EDIT: Just read your post above D...) .... and there is a cost involved which people wont want to pay (and why should they)

Also, once you've read one, its hard to be enthusiastic about another one, as its presented in exactly the same way... by the sixth one, its boring.

But, if they were all different, it would have more of an appeal for people to read stuff, as it would all be presented differently.

Anyways... I didnt want to start a heated debate, just an idea.

Surely people would still be bored by the 6th or so car regardless of whether or not
it has a display stand or info shees on the window, unless they are avid vectra fans (its not a vauxhall only show)
in which case the would more than likely be members of this site and know about the cars on here anyway,
if they are interested in the car and what has been done to it then they would take an info sheet, A proper
info point display would just show that quality and dedication to the vehicle concerned are
important, if you spend a lot of money on a buying and modding a car a home made info board would probally let
it down.. info point displays only cost around £25 to £30 anyway,
surely worth while to show off your car and also highlight the good points for any potential car thiefs
if you so desire that kind of attention........

Agreed, could have still been worded just a wee bit differently though as, has been said, it's all to easy to take the written form the wrong way. Like Tommy, I've found out the hard way too! lol

However - I wrote nothing more offensive that Bainies first reply to this thread...I even went as far to say that I think the car is great and amazing, and I really like Steve...so if I touched a nerve regarding money mate....then I'm sorry, but I wasn't posting any assualt......
