    Default Vectra 2.2Dti Codes

    Hi there,

I'm new to this forum and i'm having a couple of problems with a 52 plate 2.2dti. I had the codes read as it was not revving over 3000rpm and was in limp home mode. The codes are as follows:

p1105 baro press not plausible w/boost
p0105 barometric pressure implausible with boost

Now i've been to vauxhall and replaced the baro sensor and it cures it for about 5 seconds and then jumps into limp home mode. There are no other codes present so it's a bit of a head scratcher.

    Anyone any ideas?

Ive also recently had a petrol version with the radiator/autobox problem. So a bit of useless info for you. The final recall dates for these vehicles is October next year with a maximum milage of 100,000 miles and you DONT have to have the service history to have the job done! That's inside info for you

Oh and hi to all nice to be here.

Good chance it could be a split turbo hose - a very common problem on the 2.0/2.2DTi

Or another description" P0105 Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Malfunction" As D says chances are split hose.

Okay after a lot of head scratching and swearing I found the problem, or should I say problems. Firstly the thin plastic pipe from the throttle housing had chaffed and the hole was the size of a pin head. Replacing that cured the problem for about 5 minutes and the spanner light re-appeared. Anyways after ruling out various sensors I decided to unplug the EGR valve and plug it back in sure enough the light went out. Armed with brake cleaner I removed the EGR valve and soaked the ****** and put it back together. Guess what no more spanner lights and the thing goes like a rocket again. It must have sucked some grit in there causing the valve to stick anyways all is well now.
