    Default For those disconnecting battery with ESP!!!

    "4.) Calibrate Steering Angle Sensor (Vehicles with ESP)
    Note: The ESP-steering angle sensor must be recalibrated each time the battery is disconnected from the on board power supply. The calibration can be undertaken using either of the two modes of procedure described below.
    1. With ignition "ON", turn steering wheel to its full extent from left to right

    Never heard of that one. What happens if you dont do it? My battery has been off a few times and never had to do that.
    Where did you get this information from?

    The other option was to Tech 2 it, and as we can't do that...
    It doesnt actually say what happens if you dont, but I presume its for the different settings for the sort settings.

    I can confirm this, it is one of the general security-instructions concerning vehicle electronics on Opels.

    It will not disturb normal driving, but probably important if the ESP kicks in (don't know exactly how) AND the sensor is used by the navigation system: when no signal is available (for instance in tunnels) it uses the Sensor to hold the right direction

    This is ONE modification I really wish I had... ESP (Essential Spoons Protection)

    I think you forgot to quote the bit that says which vehicles this applies to, i.e. only Corsa-C and Meriva - not Vectra C.

    Is that definately not applicable to the Vecy, as I have ESP and did disconnect the battery just last weekend...
