Passenger Mirror in REVERSE

I've been reading the manual for the Vectra, on page 10 is lists that the passenger mirror will automatically point to the rear tyre when reverse is selected,

This is a feature is listed as available with the electric seats pack, is it something that can be added if you don't have the electric seat pack, maybe a relay or something ?

Got this as standard on my Signum Elite, it's a really useful feature.

To retro fit it you'll need I would think a new Passenger Door Module, maybe the drivers too and a Tech 2 to tell the car that the feature is there. Depending on the wiring in the door mirror, it may even need a different mirror housing as some of them are listed as being for electric memory seats. Whether that means the Park Assist feature too I'm not sure of.

Sounds a bit much to save me moving my finger ! rewire, seat module , Tech 2, new wing mirrors

shame really, it would have been a good upgrade if it was just a new relay

May not need the Drivers Door Module (DDM) as well (although you never can tell) as it's not the memory part of it that is being fitted, just the 'basic' mirror tilt on reverse. But the way these things are wired up/talk to each other it may well need both modules!

I think the minimum you could possibly get away with is the PDM and a Tech 2 which you'd be laughing as that's not too much lolly. But you obviously don't want to get into the situation where you get those then find out you need the DDM as well then the drivers mirror on top of that etc. etc.

I'm going in Saturday to my dealer to get the oil changed on the Astra, I was gonna ask them about fitting the Aux input to the new car when it arrives, I may ask about too,
