    Default First for everything....

Managed to get myself a nice parking ticket today. While at work i parked in a pedestrian zone which can also be used for loading/unloading. The store i was in today was closing and i had to transfer stock, fittings, files etc to other stores, and i was over the time limit and got a surprise when i came out.

I admit it was my fault but it seems a bit unfair. Worst of all i got away with parking there all last week!!

Thought about it, but if i pay within 14 days it gets reduced to £30, if not it's £60. It could take more than 14 days for them to decide

On a double yellow, in a bus stop. Tut, tut.

I had a traffic warden help me unload my car today, so I'd be quicker to get out of the double yellow on the corner of a junction inside a pedestrian crossing area. He said he'd have booked me if I hadn't spotted him and asked him if I could unload my stuff.

I appealed against a ticket a few weeks back, I had to pay it and if my appeal was successful, they would refund my money - but they denied me!

    Worth a try imo.

I hate t when they are like this, if you're entitled to park to load or unload what difference should it make. I reckon they offer to help so they have good reason to hang around and see if you disappear for 5 seconds whilst they slap a ticket on.
