    Default 362mm AP Racing Brakes

    362mm 6-Pot AP Racing Brakes

Who's got them fitted to their Vectra / Signum.....

I remember seeing a few people on here who had them fitted but cant remember who !!

Anyway... could you please let me know how you are getting on with them. Are they what you expected and would you buy them again in the future, or are they overkill.....

    Comments welcome

362mm?!! Will they fit under 19s? Thought the VXR 345mm only just fitted under 18s?

Edit: Seen Tommy's post - guess they fit under 18s as well then? They must look flippin' great!!

Massive and very expensive looking !! (In fact I think its the single most expensive mod you can do to a car !!)

These AP Racing Calipers had to be specially designed to fit behind the VXR 19" wheel... the standard AP Racing 6-Pot calipers wont fit !! - so Vauxhall had to get some specifically made for the VXR...

Yep, nail on the head there ian, 2k, but they do look impressive, though I couldn`t justify 2k for the improvement over vxr brakes .

But I've spoken with AP Racing technical department ages ago and they will NOT approve 4-Pot calipers for the Vectra... due to its weight !! Most 'other' brand brake manufacturers recommend 6-Pot brakes for the weight category of the Vectra.

AP Racing will only approve 6-Pot Calipers for the Vectra.

Tony at 888 wont willingly sell you 4-Pot brakes for the Vectra either.. he recommends 6-Pot brakes due to the Vectra weight.

And if you are going to spend a ball hair short of £1500 on 4 pots I would pay the extra £500 for 6`s myself ...
