I am posting this up to make aware of this event in are regoin as few lads went last year and said its good event

This event is on the Kings parade at new brighton.it is a public road open all year round
The rally action includes,Spriting,rallying and the Wirral show

You pay to go in the Pits or the carpark. If you can find a spot for free and walk to the "crowd" line (2-3 deep) its all free.

I'll be there again competing mate Unfortunately not in the Mini as that had to be sold as my mate has been off work since April with a broken back and as he is self employed needed to generate some cash. Will be navigating for another mate in his brand new Escort Cosworth. This is the car's first event and is absolutely mint having just been built. Not as quick as the top lads but very smart looking.


Then from next year will be back with my normal driver as he is making a full recovery and we went down to Dover to pick up a replacement for the Mini.

We were gutted to see it go mate. New owner runs a company called scuffed alloys (scuffedalloys.com) near Blackburn so should be seen on plenty of NW events. We did NW stages in it in February, cracking event. May be in the Mini on next years Prom as the guy who bought it said we could use it if we wanted as the main reason he got it was as a publicity tool for his company as it got more attention than his mate's (John Stone - Legend Fires - Hyundai WRC + Metro 6R4) cars on events

I remember the mini too, looked like a lot of fun !! - brought back some memories of my mini owning days. I'm sure i've seen it on motorstv on that program, Rally UK I think it's called ?

I'll probably make it again this year but it's my parents wedding anniversary and they are planning a biggun' - should be able to go in the morning though.
