earth connection

Where would be the best place to connect the earth wire to for the foglights.The wire comes from the relay so i need to connect to earth somewhere close to the car battery

also y i'm on,is it OK to connect the negative from the fog units directly back to the battery negative terminal? or should i connect to somwhere else

Well mate the hole chasis it`s your negative pole...so choose the spot drill a hole an bam! you are done.....if it`s to close to the battery there are some wires allready gronded to the body work in the area if I recall correctly.....on the hand other I see no problem of using the negative pole of the battery itself.

I got my fogs working today took me about an hour to work out where all the wires go,connected them up then hey presto lights come on.At least now i know the job is safely done cheers bluerob!!
