    Default 1.9cdti oil warning light

    Over the last few days the oil warning light has been coming on. I thought this was strange as I check the
    oil regularly and it was ok the last time looked.

    When I got home I checked the oil and this was the level...

    Once the engine has cooled, the level goes back up to just below full. This has happened a few times now
    but if the engine is turned off for 2 minutes and then turned back on, the light will go off again. This doesn't
    happen every though.........Any ideas??

    Sounds like a dodgy sensor to me - that oil level is spot on if the engine's warm.
