I have been looking around the net and have found a few but its always peace of mind to have a good one reccomended

Just got back from Chania

We hired our car at the resort. After having looked around the local places in the end we hired one from Avis mainly because it was the only one I had heard of.

Car was excellent with all the insurance mularkey included in the quoted price. After driving along the coast Rd. to Efalanssi (Spelt it wrong but it's on the south coast) I'm glad we had a decent up to date motor even if it was a fraud frocus.

Don't use national or alamo, we were quoted £502 per car ( 2 cars required) for 2weeks, we paid for the fuel in advance so we could bring them back empty and paid extra insurance, we returned them in the same condition that we got them and 1week later we got the final invoice for £959 for one car and £873 for the other car, no explanation why they over charged us at all!! apparently National Alamo do this sort of thing a lot!!!

We were looking for a 9 seater minibus as the whole family is goingjust managed to book a bus for 14 days for £540 so quite happy

we used Avis in spain and it only cost us £92 for a week for a brand new VW polo. nice car to drive too!
