Fmic Ok Vxrd

Just spoke with Regal Autosport regarding their Front Mounted InterCooler (FMIC) for the Vectra VXRD.

Its the new Bar and Plate design and comes with all the pipework and fitting instructions. So I called Mark (GSi3.2) and he's happy to help me fit it to the car, so I've ordered it this morning.

I also spoke with Nigel at 888 Race Engineering and they are happy for me to get it fitted and bring it down to them again for an EDS Remap Upgrade to allow for a higher boost and fuel intake to allow for the InterCooler.

So the VXRD should gain around 10-15 bhp (hopefully) but will provide a higher and more sustained torque curve.

We shall see....

I've just spoke with Matt and he's given me some advice and a good idea to change the VXRD top front bumper grill for a 3.0 CDTi one.

This means that more air will get through to the engine bay as the 1.9 CDTi top grill is completely blocked off.

Sounds good, so I will go get one today as well.
