Whistle when steering

Not sure if this is a problem or not.

When sitting stationary and i steer slightly i get a bit of a whistle/hiss as i do it, like turbo whistle.

This normal?

I think its alright mate, Im on my second pump and they have both done that, does it in my old mans vec and in my old pug.

Sounds like the pump to me.....yeap they are kind of noisy, specially if you steer fully stopped....it`s normal

Normal on all 3 Vauxhalls I've had (2x Mk4 Astra and a Corsa C, all use similar PS pumps).

I remember when all VX Clutch pedals used to creak every time you pressed them.LOL
