    Default Baby seat recommendations

Has anyone got a child seat (9months upwards forward facing) that acually fits the veccy rear seats properly, ive tried 3 types graco britax and chico models from halfords and due to the bases of the seats being flat and the rear seat angling up slightly they all seem to have excessive sideways movement, one model had a foot that came down to adjust for uneveness but even that did nothing to support it.
The guy doing the fitting said it was a problem in vectra's
Just wondered if anyone could recommend a brand/model, as little Boo Boo's fast growing out of her car seat.

    cheers Ian

Maxi Cosi Priori XP are rock solid, even as good as Isofix IMHO and others here would agree.
Had ours out today to hoover and it impresses me everytime I refit it how good they are.

get a iso fix base and all your problems disappear. I personally am going to get a Recaro seat (again) we have the 0-9month seat in there now and the base can be used for the next step up.
I like using iso fix as you KNOW it is mounted into the car solidly.

The young expert + is the one I will more than likely be going for.

we went to look at the aprica, and it is a stunning bit of kit, but tbh we just couldn't justify the price. Kinda glad now as our son HATES lying down, has done since he was about 2 weeks old.

I just liked the Maxi Cosi seats in my eyes they was better made
also on the recaro ones i had to have a bit steel bar from the base of the seat to the floor dam pain in the ****
the Priori XP seats use the seat belts but are Fine some one wanted to have a look at the side of the Astra h with ellie in her seat she was fine thats why i went back an got 2 new after the crash

Recaro Start baby seat looks nice but my 3 year old can get out of it as car the 1 1/2 year old so it went on ebay

next up i had 2 Young Expert Plus i changed them as the ISOFIX base was a pain in the back side

the last thing I expected was a problem with the base, we use one for ours (young profi plus) and I find them great as it makes putting the seat in and out of ours cars so easy and quick.
