they are plastic so any plastic polish will do it. im guessing yours have gone all funny and have what looks like oily streaks on them?

bad news is, its happened on both my C's and vauxhall only cover replacemnet in yr1 of the warranty.

    yes -
don't polish them with chrome cleaner you'll remove the 'chrome'.
Soap and water (well.. car shampoo and water) is best.

    Hi Mike,

I used Autosol metal/aluminium/chrome polish on the chrome strips at the top of the doors on the Signum, which I assume are plastic, and they came up great.....wipe on wipe off no problem..............I had water marks and adhesive from when I masked it off when I was machine cleaning it.

Ps I need to get down to Tescos for some of their cheepo masking tape.....it's low addhesive cause it's rubbish...........perfect eh

The problem that Mike has soap and water won't do it..............I assume he has tried that..........I used Autosol to get rid of water spots and particularly adhesive from the masking tape which soap and water also won't take off.

It's like evrything else try the mildest first and if doesn't work then hey try something else............all I can say is that Autosol worked for me eh

theres a plastic coating over the top of the silver strip so yes autosol will work as will T-cut and such like .... your problems will start when the plastic trim starts to lift and the discolouration gets in underneath !!!!
