One less Edition 100 2.0T in the world!

Just seen the aftermath of an accident in Leighton Buzzard. A pretty sweet loking Edition 100 2.0T and another car had quite a serious coming together near Tesco in L/B.

Hope No one was hurt and if the driver is a member on here or reading this, i hope you get sorted with your car soon mate.

The damage doesn't look to bad, might not be a written off all depends what its like beneath the skin. I take it the Ka in the background was the other car?

The car is out of shot to the left of the picture, think it was an Omega or an Astra.

hope that wasnt the driver with the flipflops on u can get done for not having proper footware on when driving.

apparently an urban myth, along with it being illegal to drive bare foot, you are merely advised to wear suitable footwear, it only becomes a problem if you crash and it can be directly attributed to your footwear.

Karl, I trust you're right. I had a serious foot infection when I arrived in Malaysia for my holiday this year and had to wear flip-flops the whole 2 weeks, and also when driving my car back home from the airport. It took a minute or two to get used to the different 'feel' of the pedals, but otherwise it did not affect my driving one iota. Because of the condition of my right foot, I couldn't wear shoes so really had no choice but to drive in flip-flops. If your driving is not adversely affected, it should not be a problem. Mine wasn't, so my Edition 100 2.0T is still alive and kicking
