How Long?

just got the car back after being resprayed when some little bar steward keyed it...car has been resprayed on one side and has still come back looking pretty minging so just wondering when i can spend some tlc on it and give it a good wash, polish and wax? car was resprayed bout 2 weeks ago but had to go back as they put loads of swirls on the new paintwork and generally did a cr Ap job..

If it's been oven baked then you should be able to do it straight away. Just take the edge of your nail on an inconspicuous part to check that the lacquer isn't slightly soft otherwise as you start to detail you'll leave little 'dents' in the lacquer which you'll have to then smooth out.

When I've had things like skirts painted - which aren't oven baked - they've said I can polish/wax them straight away, but I've always given them a day or so extra just to let it all settle.
