    Default Performance or Styling

After contemplating what wheels to buy and whether to get them from the UK or US i really don't have a clue what I want. I am more attracted to performance hence I bought the 2.0Turbo, but what is all your opinions? Im very attracted at the prospect of a Bsr stage 3 which will hopefully be around 240-250bhp or on the other hand there is styling e.g. wheels, body mod's. The modification will be happening late this year early next, so the poll will run till end of December.

So simple question Performance or Styling.

Given what you're asking - basically do you go for the wheels you've been looking at or the Stage 3 then for me it's no brainer - has to be Stage 3. You can then keep looking for wheels and may find some going used, but in good nick.

if you're asking what we think overall, then both are important to me (possibly another choice if that was your intended question?). I want the car to perform - hence me getting the 2.0T and BSR etc., but I also want it to look nice visually so have done a number of styling mods. Basically a nice balance. But if you asked me to choose between a standard looking car with performance, or a visually eye-catching one without performance then it'd always be the one with performance.

Not that a standard 2.0T is by any means a slouch either!

i'd rather have a car that looks nice and not over the top with mods, than have the performance( WE CAN ONLY GO GO 70), and as dunacan says, the 20T arent slow

I've gone for performance but i do think that styling mods if done tastefully can really make a car something special

...................but there's no substitute for raw power...........

The problem is with the word Styling! What one person calls Style, another person will call Maxpower Chav (if you see what I mean). IMO, it's better to style a car to a particular theme and not mix and match from different kits.

So unless you know exactly what you want to achieve styling wise, go for the performance upgrades.

Styling for me, it is nice to know you have 250bhp or whatever, but at the end of the day it is pub talk, as said above you don`t get much of a chance to use it. A nice set of alloys will make the car look a lot nicer and individual, you will get more of a kick from that than a speeding ticket !! I loved my old 2.2 with the steinmetz kit and Toora alloys, though it wasn`t the quickest car it got a lot more attention from Joe Public than the vxr does ...

i would vote both ...........BUT as you already have the bsr stage one like me I would go for styling now .Unless your a boy racer LOL and want to try and burn up all opposition .I personally think the car is plenty fast enough now
