Had a really bad day

As the heading may suggest i'm having somewhat of a bad day.

All began 12 weeks ago....

I took on two young lads off the dole, both 16, on a 12 week trial basis, with a view to if they were competent enough take them on permanently as apprentice joiners.

12 week trial finished today.

I had the great pleasure of telling one he had more than proved his worth and as of monday would be starting permanently on my staff, starting college in january.

However, i had this misfortune of telling the other one that he hadn't made it. this is where the fun begins.

I sat him down last night, and so as not to shatter the boys self esteem told him that there just wasn't enough work to sustain his employment and that i would'nt be keeping him on. (a little white lie, as the boy is as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike).

He took a little huff, and i invited him back to finish off his trial come to work today get paid, and go home about lunch time, BIG mistake.

He duly arrived this morning about 20 past 8, (the usual 20 minutes late) in what can only be described as in a huff.

I asked him into the office, and asked what was wrong (holding in my hands a glowing reference). after 20 minutes (heated debate) i asked him to leave, go home and i'll drop his wages off later (he stays in the same village as myself) he point blank refused asking me to make him, then took a swing at me, punching me in the head!!!!! after 5 minutes scrapping with the lad and my storeman coming to the rescue we ejected him from the building. As he left he vows to get me n my wife n kids sorted!!

I went up to my Dads office about half an hour later and he's there having a go at my dad telling him he'd gonna have him wasted!!!!!

So he's removed from the premises (kicked out on his ar53),

Then his mother arrives to sort us out.

The result is that we are no longer recruiting young guys for apprentices, one hell of a sore wrist, and a big lump on the side of my head.

Police can't do anything as it's his word against mine!!

I really can't wait till it's dark!!!!

there is enough to arrest the little blighter...........its for the police to investiagte not judge the incident.....

anyways, you made the right decision....thats a blessing.......you might have employed him......

Sounds like one of those reprobate families, ****in ********s dont know whats good for them. The young fella could have learnt a lesson here, take it on the chin and get on with it. Hope your heads not to sore m8, winter won't be long so they'll be more dark hours

Just cant believe some people, offered the chance to learn a trade and cant even be bothered to turn up on time...its not difficult

LOOK AT THE SODDIN' PARENTS FOR GODS SAKE!!!!!!!

Correct person given a job, the other will probably end up in jail in a few months. Why the police can't take action against him is a mystery. Might make him think about his actions for the future .....................but somehow i very much doubt it

To be honest, i really think drugs are involved.

Had my suspicions for a while, you know the story, he went to the loo half way through our little chat this morning teary eyed and upset (understandbly) came out 10 minutes later like the ****** hulk, i **** myself an i'm a big guy!

I tried to give the guy a chance, well, thats my face well and truly slapped!!!

I'm thinking a bit of a visit after hours might teach the little scrote a few manners got to say this really winds me up little barstewards think they own the world and everyone is in debt to them ferkin w4nk3rs the lot of them

Also i'm not overly concerned with the scrap, he came off worse tbh. Its the threat on the way out the door, my wife and kids.

Altough his mother was horrified when i told her the story that her darling little boy would'nt dare say a thing like that, she was more horrified when i told that if i find him near my house, he'll be coming home in envelopes!
