    Default Saved £40 today.....

I went to a garage today to ask about fitting costs for the crome handles i brought off andyvec , anyway first they said it would take 40 mins a door then i showed them the thread of how 2 from here and they still said it would take about a hour as these things can be arkward to fit and it would be £40 for the hour . I said i ll think about it and thought no not paying forty pounds i ll try myself . 15 mins later and £ 4.45 spent on a t 20 screwdriver and it s all done .
what im saying is if you are new and aint done things before like me give them a go as if you don t try you ll never do anything .
P.s only talking about little mods on car nothing mayor
I will post pictures as soon as other bits go on car

They are simple to do, as you have found out

People should have a go themselves at the easier things

40 mins a door?! - they were having a laugh!! Quickly dropped to an hour overall only after you showing them the How 2 - still taking the pee!

As you found, they're a doddle to do - good on ya and you saved £40 that you can put towards another mod.

I can see where they were at with it, to start I imagine they thought door panels off, then when you showed them it became 15 mins per door, still you did it and you now have beer and curry money for tomorrow night
