Default The 20 minute wash and detail.

Some people wonder why we spend so much time washing waxing and sealing etc when a quick trip to the supermarket and an hours time give a reasonable result.

Well I think today summed it up. Simon5800 is enroute as I type to take my old Sri lip spoiler off me. but the car was minging So I went for a quick run upto a good garage with a jet wash and gave the car a quick once over with a high pressure jet...NO BRUSHES!!!

Then being a hot day I realised that the car would get covered in water marks so I had a quick look in the boot and found my Megs last touch detail spray and a single microfibre clothe. I Spent five minures "drying the car" with it and hey presto.

From my desk to the carwash and back to desk took 20 minutes....All because there is a veneer of good wax on the car already. The effort a few months ago is still paying off.

thats exactly what I did to my two cars ( well, mine and wifeys ) last night, theres a lot be said for keeping plenty of clean microfibres and meguiars last touch in bulk lol...

only washed the vec completely once since I bought in April .. highly recomend the collinite 915 .. I could tell instantly when using the last touch ( same as quik detailer ) which panels Id done and which not

your Vecs lookin spot on now Brocks, half wonder if I really should have got the all to common star silver ....

Hy mate. How do you use the last touch? Do you dry the car first with a towel,or do you spray the last touch onto the wet car?
