Vauxhalls get around!

Ive just returned from my hols 'up top' driving from Darwin to Broome and visiting 'a few' places such as Kakadu, Bungle bungles etc in between during our 3000km trip (of which about 350km were off road driving through creeks, sand and rocks but thats another story!). I came to appreciate the size of Australia for the first time!

Even though the places were, say half a day driving between them, we kept bumping into the same groups of people or seeing the same cars on our travels. One bunch we kept seeing were a few vehicles with a big badge on the back saying something like 'Australian Vauxhalls owners club NT Tour 2007' - obviously not driving Vauxhalls - as you need a landcruiser amazon up there!! any one know what thats about?

We also saw a Bern (Swiss) registered motorhome at one point on the highway - he had come a long way!!

I could do a mini trip report if anyone is interested in the area - and I took far too many pics!

Congrats on doing the trip mate. Isn't it an awesome thing to do.

Did our top end driving trip 3yrs ago in Nissan Patrol 4X4's.

Do write a trip report for all the northern hemisphere guys to look at. Will give them a better understanding of just how diverse & wonderfully breathe taking this country is.
