Default New toy next week :)

It's taken me a while but I've finally found what Im after at the right price

Just put a deposit down on a 2004 SRI 2.0T in black Only 25k on the clock, 8month MoT and 6months tax for £6995

It is getting a full RAC gazillion point check on tuesday to make sure there are no problems then I collect it on wednesday (all being well).

Made a bit of a hasty decision and put down the deposit over the phone without looking at it, however the deposit is refundable if the RAC check shows up any issues or/and I get there and am not happy with the condition so I figured hey may as well as I didn't want to loose her!

    piccies there ^^^^

    5 days to go

What are your thoughts on warranties... This dealer doesnt sell them as the guy said they dont believe in the silly markups dealers make (usual sales woffle i know) but he can put me in touch with the warranty company direct who will do one on the car for £150/year...

looks very nice! (i miss my hatchback! lol) got the headlight upgrade aswell

as for extended warranties, i think if you get the right company they are life savers... guy next door has a laguna estate (53 plate diesel with high miles) he took out an independant extended warranty - think he said it was about £450 per year, but he was laughing when the turbo went, then some major clutch problem etc etc etc etc....

to the Turbo club m8 you won't regret it. Before anyone else tells you I will, get the BSR remap. I've not got mine yet but its the first thing Im getting as soon as the funds are available.GET IT, GET IT, GET IT!!!

Hope you enjoy the car when you get it.

hehe thanks for the welcome, was going to get a sensible 2.2 direct until you ******s talked me into the turbo

Insurance is only £80 more for the year and I'm sure the extra visits to the petrol station will be worth it hehe

Just got my fingers crossed that nothing shows up on the RAC check.

As for the warranty I guess ill have to have a read through the small print and see what I think.

Got a few ideas for mods.. just need to get the thing first Nice 140mile trip back to get used to her aswell, will be a hell of a difference from driving my 2.0 1995 SRI

    What they said!

Nice looking car. Nice low mileage for it's age and price is good.
