Red face Just said goodbye to the Signum

After three good years driving what I always thought was an under rated car by the motoring press, the pain of 28mpg has forced me to chop in my 2.2 petrol signum for a Toyota Avensis tourer 2.0 diesel instead.

The Avensis is a great car with loads of mid range punch and a really well built feel. However the user forums for the avensis are very poor compared to this wonderful site.

Just wanted to say cheers to all of you for posting sound advice - it came in handy more than once or twice come service time!

Wink Err ... but will you need a Forum with a Toyota ?

Get in, insert key, start car, drive, park, lock up etc. Repeat for the number of years you have the Toyota .... have regular servicing and wear & tear items done. I have a friend who did 120,000 odd miles in RAV 4 and that was pretty much all he did. Although I think I have heard that Toyota's reliability had slipped a bit recently ?

Thanks for the positive responses. If the Veccy SRI estate had a few more toys i'd have gone for it but no rear electric windows etc seemed like too much of a drop from the well specced signum design.
