Hi again all. I know I am going over something that has been well covered in the forums.

I am pulling my hair out here and wondered if there was actually some one that works for VX here can answer the simple question.

Does the 2.0L DTI actually have a Dual Mass Flywheel.

I have spoke to my local dealer who told me they have never heard of one.
So then I tried calling a dealer in Newcastle who then after begging for some advice told me they have only ever fitted one of these on a Vectra.

I told them that I was under the impression that it was a common fault and the guy actually laughed at me.

If any one has a 2.0L DTI and had the problem with a shake through your bum while accelerating can you let me know

Hi Mate.
I Had The Same Problem With My Petrol 2.2 Vectra Sri.
No One Could Find The Fault At First.
I Showed It To A Vx Specialist Who Told Me Its Possibly The Flywheel.
I Had It Changed And The Car Now Drives Like A Dream.
Its Common With The Diesels Though.
I Personnaly Would Get It Checked Out First To See If It Does Have A Dualmass Fly Or A Normal One As The Dualmass Fly Costs Around £380 On E-bay And Also When Changing The Fly Wheel You'll Have To Change The Clutch Kit.
If You Don't Change The Cluth It Will Mess The Fly Up Again.
